Rhonda is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She attended Middle Tennessee State University for her bachelor's degree. She specialized in Critical Care Nursing for 18 years, working at Vanderbilt Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and was a change nurse for over ten years. She held certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and was an instructor of Advanced  Life Support and Fundamentals of Critical Care Medicine. After working in the intensive care arena for 18 years, she found that her interest changed from caring for the physically wounded person to caring for the emotional wounds of her patients and their families. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and graduated in 2013. From 2013 - 2019, she worked in a dual-diagnosis residential treatment center. Since 2017, she has been working with Selena Phillips to build a thriving outpatient clinic that focuses on the whole individual.
